Episode Synopsis

In this week's episode, our quote of the day is from Physicist Richard Feynman on why knowledge isn't free and what you have to pay to acquire it.
In the stupidest thing I've heard all week segment, we have a network news anchor proclaiming that the U.S. experienced 23 mass shooting incidents in just the prior week (more than 3 per day every day of the week)
In our science minute/things you should know segment, we'll tell you how many operating nuclear reactors there are worldwide and in the US, if those numbers are increasing or decreasing, and by how much.
In a related clip, we'll play a 4-minute segment from a Congressional hearing where the Deputy Secretary for the US Department of Energy is advocating that the US spend tens of trillions of dollars to achieve a carbon-neutral economy by the year 2050 yet can't/won't answer some fundamental questions associated with the costs and benefits of that proposed program. You can watch that actual 4-minute video clip here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O9N8Y67LYcw
In a game of hot potato, we'll tell you about one self-avowed sanctuary city that has started to bus migrants out of its city to other cities that have not declared themselves to be sanctuary cities and claim they don't have the resources to handle the influx of hundreds of illegal aliens.
We'll ask, "Do you know how many years it would take to pay off the national debt if the US started to bank one dollar every second to save up enough money to pay off that debt?". I'm guessing you won't even come close to the actual answer.
Our taxpayer relief shot comes to us from Murfreesboro, TN, where a father confronts two armed home invaders holding his son & mother at gunpoint. It doesn't turn out well for the thugs.
