Ranganath Mavinakere was the immediate-past CFO of Infosys. He has over 27 years of experience in I.T and Financial Services industries. He has held several leadership positions during a tenure of nearly 18 years with Infosys. Prior to being the CFO of Infosys, he was the Executive Vice President of Strategic Operations and was responsible for strategic planning, risk management, mergers & acquisitions and corporate marketing. Earlier, he led the cost optimization initiative of the company as part of the Chairman's Office. From January 2008 to July 2013, he was the Chief Risk Officer and worked with the Board's Risk Management and Audit committees to enable the Board's overview of risk management and governance. Prior to this, Ranga was Head of the Domain Competency Group, where he led a group of industry consultants and worked with global financial services clients. From 1991 to 1999, Ranganath worked with ICICI Limited, where he held leadership responsibilities in Treasury, Planning and Credit functions. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, a Master's degree in Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and Bachelor's degree in Engineering from University of Mysore.
