Listen "Vulnerability & Authenticity! What does it look like?"

Episode Synopsis

“Vulnerability is the birthplace of love, belonging, joy, courage, empathy, and creativity. It is the source of hope, empathy, accountability, and authenticity. If we want greater clarity in our purpose or deeper and more meaningful spiritual lives, vulnerability is the path.” ― Brené Brown
In this episode, we dive into what it means to be vulnerable and authentic. Discovering what are our intentions in sharing parts of ourselves as well as deciphering when it is “safe” to share ourselves and with whom. We also explore the importance of assessing others’ intentions in their vulnerability. Paying attention to what type of relationship we share. Does it have a foundation? Was it cultivated with a foundation of love, belonging and trust or one of fear, rejection and mistrust.
There’s a lot of talk about authenticity and living a wholehearted life nowadays and it seems that everyone wants to jump on that wagon. However, such life comes at a price of being vulnerable and authentic with ourselves first. Facing our own demons, fears, ugliness and self-rejections. As we face ourselves; being vulnerable and authentic with who we really are first it can then translate and overflow into our world. Attracting experiences, relationships, friendships and partnerships with similar resonance. So, we must continue to do that mirror work! Namaste
The Goddess guidance for the week comes from Bast, an Egyptian goddess. Her message is: “Your independence is a foundation for your strength and success.”
