Listen "When the Church Welcomed the Unwelcome"
Episode Synopsis
Luke wrote the subversive book detailing the Acts of the Apostles in such a way that he slowly took his patron on a journey from the resurrection of Jesus to the church as a place of radical acceptance and inclusion. People who are unwelcome are being welcomed. People who cannot change to be acceptable are being accepted. I'm sure it was terrifying to the people then, just as it is now.So can we, or should we, live out the example of the early church?Food for thought in this week's worship in study.Comments and questions are welcome.
