As you move along in your shadow work, you will get better and better at spotting your shadow in action. You will start to understand its method of operation, what emotions are triggered and even scenarios where it seems to be most active. You will also begin to recognize when another's shadow is operative and see it clearly. But caution to the wind when you think you have mastered your shadow. The shadow can be very cunning and would love for nothing more than for you to think you have mastered it and use your new skills of identifying another's shadow at work for its new playground. It is important to be compassionate to those who are under the spell of their shadow. And once you have been through numerous episodes of your own shadow taking you by surprise, you are well equipped to extend great compassion to others. It is best to use your knowledge to be kind.
