Shadow work will challenge your trust when you realize that the conditions and circumstances that have caused you pain in your life were created by you. Not the suffering or harm that one may have inflicted, but the conditions put in place and your reaction to them. If you accept that you have the power to create your reality and manifest the life of your dreams, your will face the deep question of how could I have caused my self so much pain then? It is a valid question. The answer is rooted in acceptance of your power and how living your life by relinquishing your power is what has caused you pain. The issue of trust is bound to come up on your healing journey though your shadow work, but fear not, this is how you gain your trust back.
