Listen "Nahum 2"
Episode Synopsis
Nahum 2 vividly portrays God’s justice against Nineveh, the seemingly invincible capital of Assyria. The chapter describes the city’s downfall—floods, sieges, and desolation—as God’s response to their oppression and pride. Yet this passage also speaks of restoration for Judah: God promises to rebuild what was plundered, repair what was ruined, and restore their dignity. It’s a reminder that vengeance belongs to the Lord, who confronts evil and defends the oppressed. Through Christ’s ultimate triumph over darkness, we find both justice and hope.
