As sometimes occurs, an off-the-cuff rant to make a point went larger picture. 
How can a simple reaction to a seemingly outrageous claim inform us on how we are to behave in a free society in a way that embraces and preserves that freedom.
In a time and age when I can tell you SOOOO many things that are questionable, yes, you should loudly and CLEARLY bring up inconsistencies you see. No matter what it may imply. Because if not, then how do we decide what we can NOT bring up? And who decides.
