Listen "Tim Munton: Drive and determination with a bit of luck"
Episode Synopsis
Tim Munton’s cricketing career started way back in 1985 when he made his debut for his county, Warwickshire. He played for most of his career there and in 1992 he was called up to the national team. In 1995, he was named one of five Wisden Cricketers of the Year. With cricket being such a big part of his life, being forced to retire in 2002 due to injury could’ve easily left him unsure what path to take. He is now Director of Sport at Champions UK The Brand Agency.
Tim talks about his time as a professional sports person, and how that kind of career is never going to last that long. He’s managed to covert his success from on the pitch to off the pitch and in this interview he shares his advice on how he has made that happen.
