Listen "Passing the Torch"
Episode Synopsis
Greetings everyone. This Sunday was the Sheppard's last day with us. They left yesterday evening around 6pm. Their new appointment is in Grass Valley CA. We wish them the best, and we thank God for working through these people to breathe new life in to the Pendleton Corps. Without them, this place would not be anywhere near what it is today. They have certainly made a huge impact on the Corps as well as the entire community. They will be greatly missed.Sunday morning saw a packed chapel (well over 130 people in attendance) to see the Sheppards off. There was a great hour-long prayer and testimony time, recounting the last four years of memories with them. So if they are reading this: Thank you guys for spending the last four years of your lives with us here in Pendleton. We will never be the same corps again. You guys will always have a special place in all our hearts, and have surely laid a solid foundation for future growth here. We love you.
