Episode Synopsis
Send us a textThis Tuesday our SVP Antonio Costa was joined by David Alicea, the Systems Architect at Cisco.David started his Networking journey back in 2005 as a Helpdesk Technician at DeVry University, where he worked his way up the ranks over the course of 6 years. Since then he’s been in a couple of Network Engineer roles until he fell into his current position. David talks to us about his transition into a more sales-based role, and how his previous experience working in the space, has led him to be able to understand and relate more with his customer's needs. We understand the level of satisfaction you can get from this type of role and whether it's something you should consider if you're currently in a technical role. We learn about all the current trends happening within the space, from hiring expectations changing for junior roles, to how the Networking Security space will evolve in the future.
