Episode Synopsis
Capt. Robert Appleton (Rob) is a mission driven and innovative leader with over 25 years of experience in law enforcement. He has experience in strategy, operations and tactics; organizational diagnosis and interventions; the design and facilitation of large-scale events / meetings, and is committed to leadership development activities. Over his impressive career, Rob has developed strong strategic planning, leadership and facilitation skills through effective communication across all organizational levels internally, and through a passion in supporting the communities within which he and his teams serve externally. He has served almost nine years as a Commissioned Officer in: Division Inspections (PSB), New York State (NYS) Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force – CCU, Troop F, and Troop G - Uniform and BCI.Rob is currently the New York State Police, Troop G Captain for the Bureau of Criminal Investigation.He heads up the leadership and supervision of approximately 84 Investigators, 19 Senior Investigators, and 3 BCI Lieutenants, in the 10 counties encompassing Troop G (Capital Region within NYS).
