This is one of the hardest episodes Sarah has recorded. Sarah wasn’t sure she wanted to even record an episode like this. She knew pain was coming, but she knew this was necessary. Over and over again confirmation through people and circumstances made it impossible to ignore. Matthew 5:4 Jesus says “Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted”. Loss. Grief. That deep dark valley of pain that mourning brings, sure doesn’t feel like a blessing. In this episode Sarah opens up about some of her deepest life shattering losses, child loss. Unspeakable grief, yes, but Sarah takes us through the journey to recognizing the true blessing in it all. *Interestingly, this show will air on Good Friday. It wasn’t intentional that a show about mourning would air on this day, a day representing the most grievous day in human history. The day Jesus was crucified and died. It sure is fitting.
