Coming up on 30 years in July of next year, he's done a variety of things that has informed how he sees church security and the physical protection of the flock. Matt served on the SWAT team for 20 years, starting as an operator, he moved all the way up to assistant commander. He has been in investigations and narcotics and is currently assigned as a director of the Fusion Center, and also, the head of the intelligence unit.
