Having both been in the real estate industry for many years, they share some of their personal experiences under different brokerages. Brokerages are crucial for agents because they provide mentorship, branding, and leads—which are especially helpful if you’re new in the industry. One of the only downsides is that agents inevitably have to give up a portion of the commission they make from sales. Fortunately, there are some new brokerage models surfacing that utilize concepts like SAS—allowing agents to retain their own branding and entrepreneurial methods while keeping the commission from their sales.
