Hosts John Walsh and Connor Heaney are joined by special guest & friend of the Foundation Dr Steve Henderson- Director of the Manchester Animation Festival and co-owner/editor of Skwigly Animation Magazine. Steve joined us to discuss the announcement of the Harryhausen Awards, and the importance of awards programmes in recognising and encouraging talent within the animation industry.

The Harryhausen awards have been established in honour of the legendary master of stop-motion animation. The first awards will be held on June 29th, 2022. Find out more at
