Don't ever make losing, failure or being mediocre acceptable. Every time you celebrate losing, i.e., taking a participation trophy, you're conditioning yourself to get something for nothing. To have that temporary warm and fuzzy feeling for coming up short. It's not right and, ultimately, that will condition you to be a perpetual loser in your life. Why? Because hard work is the difference maker. Hard work is what builds confidence and progress makes you happy. Sure losing isn't fun, but the only benefit of that failure should be to give you a lesson in what didn't work. THEN you come back stronger! Remember, in life we don't get what we want, we get what we earn. So don't celebrate or tolerate losing. Learn from it and show up better and stronger the next time with the goal being to WIN! Enjoy!
