Listen "57 Brittany Lindquist - Creative Director, Oracle Brand Video Team"
Episode Synopsis
Some may say Brittany was raised in the circus. Her first job, at age 12, was at the weird and whacky Ripley's Believe it or Not!, followed by an undersea aquarium tour guide gig, that led to working in the entertainment departments for both Walt Disney World and Six Flags. She was the school's newspaper editor-in-chief, a journalism major, and a hobby writer—which has all led to her passion for making content both entertaining and informational.
Now, with 13 years of experience in customer facing roles at both high-growth tech SaaS startups and Oracle, she has touched every part of the marketing funnel: from product messaging and positioning, campaign design, Marketo, Salesforce, to content creation and calendars, strategic events and tradeshows, event tech, with a majority focus on retention and customer marketing.
Currently she is in a creative role on our Brand Video Team. She is responsible for high-level strategy such as how to scale quality video strategy in a 140K person company, creative concepts and treatments for video, scripting, writing documentary style interview questions, ensuring buttoned up pre-production, traveling for filming, and seeing through post, publishing, and promotion.
Brittany's Favorite Books:
Shoe Dog by Phil Knight
Super Attractor by Gabrielle Bernstein
American Dirt by Jeannine Cummins
