There are about 11 million undocumented immigrants residing in the United States. About 800,000 immigrants in the U.S. are current DACA-holders. There is no way for them to get a green card or to become permanent residents. This is why when President Trump announced he was ending DACA in 2017, many Dreamers feared they would be deported immediately.
