On June 17, Emancipation Park Conservancy will host the Houston Grand Opera (HGO) commissioned world premiere of A Voice Within — a new song cycle by HGO Composer-in-Residence Joel Thompson — in commemoration of Juneteenth.  Widely known as Fox & Rob Rich, they are the filmmakers behind the Oscar-nominated documentary TIME (currently on Amazon Prime).  Fox and Rob have launched #TimeIIWatch: A Campaign for Freedom and are calling on 1M+ people to join a revolutionary watch party premiere to complete the unfinished work of freedom that Juneteenth began.  Come explore the universal language of music with us at the Make Music Day Festival!
