Episode 8 of the positivity podcast.

Dee Kelly is known for appearing on the Channel 4 Documentary "Benefits Street. Dee was part of a community in Birmingham U.K. that was wrongly portrayed as all being on benefits and all the negativity that surrounds being on the benefits system. When actually it was a normal community like many around the country getting on and helping each other a great example of community spirit and working together. Dee then went on to appear on Celebrity Big Brother where the nation got the chance to see the real Dee Kelly and the nation responded by keeping her in right till the final.

She is now a tireless charity worker helping with the balls to cancer charity and helping the young people in the U.K. avoid getting into gangs and becoming victims of knife crimes.

She is without doubt someone who could have easily been written off because of the way the first documentary tried to portray her but as I always say you can't hide class and this lady is a one of the classiest people I know and a key role model in the community especially for the young people of Birmingham U.K.
