Mayor Zahara in the last month has been on the front lines of true leadership embodies.
On Friday May 5th, Yellowhead County, and the Town of Edson issued an immediate evacuation order due to a Wildfire burning out of control near the community.
The Mayor’s updates on social media and steadfast leadership during the wildfires made him a source of knowledge and trusted information for residents and Canadians witnessing the horrors in his community.
