Giveamanakick are one of the seminal Irish bands of the noughties, releasing two albums on Out On A Limb. They recently completed a brief Irish tour to mark the 10th anniversary of the still insanely good We Are The Way Forward, promising that this would be their last ever tour. Their final date was at De Barra's, Clonakilty, on Friday, October 23. The following day, Eoghan sat down with guitarist and vocalist Steve Ryan to chat about their career and legacy, recording We Are The Way Forward with Tommy McLaughlin (Berkeley, Villagers, Soak), motoring tips and the excellent story of where the title 'Suffer the Gowls' came from.
