Only a Luhya can celebrate cheating death and end up almost dying by eating more than he can handle. 😂

So in the wee hours of the morning, Waliaula wakes up and mounts his sacks of coffee on his many donkeys and sets out on a journey to Uganda. He does not trust the Kenyan government to pay him enough money for his coffee, so biashara ya magendo it is.

But sasa what he did not know was that River Lwakhakha, which he must cross to get to Uganda, had flooded. Kidogo kidogo the donkeys leading the way are swept away and when he realizes what's happening, he clings on to the last one by the tail, determined to serve the donkey and his coffee. But the waves were stronger and he almost drowned.

When he got home, as the Luhya he was, he asked his wife to make him ugali gorogoro moja and mayai kumi na mbili. What happens next can only be told in a podcast.
