Listen "Interview with Rick Duncan"
Episode Synopsis
Rick and his wife, Maryanne, relocated to Northeast Ohio to pursue their passion to plant a new church that would reach the unchurched, planting CVC in 1987. He continues his role at CVC through regular teaching, as well as leadership development. He also serves with the North American Mission Board’s Send Network as a Certified Professional Trainer. Rick holds a BA in Religious Studies from Vanderbilt University, and his Masters of Divinity from Mid-America Seminary. He and Maryanne were married in 1976, and have three grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. Some of Rick’s favorite things are reading, using fountain pens, sharing what’s he’s learning to help others take their best next step, taking short vacation trips with his family (including the grandkids!), watching Vanderbilt baseball (where he played for 4 years), enjoying fall in Cleveland, and seeking to live in light of truths in Romans 8.
