Episode Synopsis

Hello, friends! I got to know Steven Andrews along with you guys this week! We hadn't actually met before recording, and it was SO much fun getting to chat with him! During Pride Month, I've chosen to highlight some amazing members of the writing community who identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, and my friend Louis was kind enough to recommend Steven to come chat. I'm so glad he did, because Steven's book, That's Me in the Closet, sounds like such an amazing story! It's about his journey from an abusive/neglected childhood, to foster care, and finally to learning about himself as he identified as a bisexual man. He's currently a minister and counselor who aims to help others who have been in the closet to live fully and authentically as themselves.
You can hang out with Steven online on Facebook and Instagram, using the handle 1actualyou. I hope you enjoy today's episode and be sure to let me know in the Q&A poll what you think about it!
Until Next Time, Friends!
