Nikki is a bi-racial woman, and she joined me on the show to talk about her identity as bi-racial being the inspiration for her book, "on which side of the fence do I fall?" In one of her stories, she tells of another student calling her The N Word, which she says in a deliberate choice to take some of the stigma away.
