Husband is back!! Tyler joins Diana again today after a few months away. They give you all of the updates on where they'll be moving next year, recent squadron events, recent travels, and Tyler's new job. Then they get into a more "Diana" episode with 5 tips they'd each give their younger selves, point blank advice. Hearing the differences in personality between the two is both comical, and quite frankly helpful in listening to their own advice. They get into their childhood, life before being together, drinking, and so much more. Squadron events, fighter pilot traditions, and husband is a golden retriever. Baby flight suits, Jeju, and we’re moving to Phoenix! Husband is going to be an F35 pilot! “Normal life” is on its way! 11 - 15 Our pits of the week. I’m currently drowning in continuing education for my CPT and CPA. Reversing from a night shift to a morning shift.15 - 17 Topic of the day: 10 things we’d tell our 20 year old selves. 17 - 23 1: Discover the hobbies that bring you pure joy early. Tyler’s roundabout way of advertising for fly fishing and duck hunting lol. 23 - 27 2: Spend more time with your friends. 27 - 32 3: Work hard, but don’t let it overtake your life. This one is for our fellow overachievers. Turn Altoids into a chill pill lol.32 - 35 4: Listen to your gut and actually follow through with it. 35 - 42 5: Don’t be afraid to talk to girls Tyler! Or in this case your boss, someone you’re intimidated by, etc. don’t be afraid of rejection. 42 - 47 6: Prioritize time to have fun, or just enjoy doing nothing as well as working towards accomplishments. It’s okay to not be productive 100% of the day.47 - 56 7: Start traveling as soon as you can. 56 - 60 8: I wish I’d been a little more open minded to adjusting my life when we entered military life together instead of being so headstrong. 1:00 - 1:04 9: Learn how to control your drinking 1:04 - 1:05 10: Wear sunscreen!! Seriously. Every day, summer and winter, on your entire body.
