Episode Synopsis

We all know fight or flight, some of us know freeze—but did you know about fawning? It's a whole new way to respond to trauma (weeeee!). It usually starts in childhood when we learn from our parents or caregivers that it isn't safe to say no, assert our needs, or fight back. Then we bring it into adulthood and—lo and behold—we can't stand up to people, even people who abuse us (*collective "fuuuuckkkk"*). In this episode, I'm joined by psychotherapist Liz Marks to talk about healing the fawning trauma response. If you'd like a one-on-one coaching session, birth chart reading, or tarot reading with Remy, go here.Want to connect?
