Our INTERVIEW this week is with Matt Grayum, host of the Nick and Matt show on youtube, host of Pro Tour Talk with Matt and Josh on the Disc Golf Network, founder of Kids Disc Golf, and Matt has assisted the disc golf media community numerous times behind the camera’s that bring you live and post produced disc golf. We have had so many conversations and answered so many questions about becoming a professional disc golfer, touring full time, and making the dream come true, but we never talk about the jobs behind the scenes. Christine and I were lucky enough to sit down with Matt in his studio and talk about how he came to be involved in the sport, and how others can do the same. We have more discussions about the media presence in the sport: if the DGPT should limit the number of events they go live at, if we’re too far removed from beginner media teams and only looking for experienced, established teams, Matt’s opinions on the talent on coverage, and even how much we in media rely on the pro’s for content!
