Today we have Dr Rahul Chakrabarti to talk to us about his journey in ophthalmology and where it has taken him around the world. If you missed our episode last week on cataracts make sure to check that out for more stories and some high yield content on cataract surgery.
Dr Rahul Chakrabarti is a trained general ophthalmologist who completed his medical training at Monash University in Melbourne. He went on to train at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital with additional sub-specialty training in strabismus and neuro-ophthalmology. He has also completed a Masters of Surgical Education at the University of Melbourne where he is now a clinical lecturer.
He is passionate about education about ophthalmology and teaches registras as well as medical students. He has a vast range of experience working both in metro and rural environments and I can think of no one better to introduce us to ophthalmology and talk us through some of the important aspects of cataract surgery.
