Episode Synopsis

A look at the awful aftermath of the Brooklyn subway shooting. The alleged perp, 62 year old Frank James was mentally disturbed with nine prior arrests and a penchant for broadcasting his most violent fantasies on YouTube. Despite his lengthy rap sheet, James was allowed to purchase an arsenal of weapons, some of which he used to terrorize New York City. Mea Culpa examines how this happened and when, if ever, we can expect sensible gun legislation. Former FBI Assistant Director Frank Figliuzzi joins the conversation.
