In September of 1989 a new sports entertainment show hit the airwaves and took the nation by storm.  That show was American Gladiators and it became a pop culture phenomenon.  Deron McBee was an actor working on the Universal Studios Hollywood lot in the late 80's as part of the Conan The Barbarian live show.  He heard about a casting call and went.  He got the gig and became "MALIBU" one of the original American Gladiators! He's well known for his signature look...the long blonde hair, tan, big muscles, etc.  He's very recognizable standing around 6'5".
