(15:20) - Carbon Footprint & Computer ChipsA joint effort between Harvard, Arizona State University, and Facebook revealed that manufacturing computer chips makes up a large portion of the total carbon footprint of electronic devices. With this in mind, the researchers hope to convince big technology companies to take this factor into account when designing devices that don’t even utilize the full performance that these chips offer.
