Listen "Collective or top down: Who sets the org transformation vision?"

Episode Synopsis

There are two schools of thought when considering who should set the transformation vision. Should they be set by the leadership team (top down) or should they be set collectively? In this episode, I am so excited to share my opinion and why I feel so strongly about this issue. You may disagree, but I believe that it is more beneficial for the transformation vision to be a top down approach. To be set by the senior leader and then delivered to their leadership team. Leadership is so important to the culture of their organisation. Good leadership is the most effective method to deliver their change story and get everybody excited about it. I have seen many good and bad leadership teams in organisations. The leader can make people feel supported, respected, or conversely, they can fuel burn out, terror, blame, dehumanise people and leave team mates feeling valueless - even unintentionally. I can’t wait to share my step by step approach to ensuring you lead your team effectively by developing and delivering a successful transformation vision. I would love to hear your thoughts on this issue. Do you think I’m right in believing that transformation visions should be top down? Or do you think there is another way to do it? LINKSResources mentioned:Past podcast episodes that are so helpful on this topic: Grab my easy 2-step approach to defining good organisational culture - The New Way | Podcast on SpotifyNew change leaders: Level up with 3 mindset shifts that matter - The New Way | Podcast on SpotifyTransformation success factors no one talks about - The New Way | Podcast on SpotifyWebsite:            https://www.everchange.com.au/LinkedIn:            https://www.linkedin.com/in/drkatebyrne/
