This year marks the 30th anniversary of the East Valley Institute of Technology, a public career technical education district (CTED) providing career training to high school students and adults in the East Valley. EVIT began as one campus serving about 700 students and has grown to multiple campuses serving 5,000 students today. Over 40 career training programs are offered at two central campuses in Mesa – the Main Campus, 1601 W. Main St., and the Power Campus, 6625 S. Power Rd. – and at a branch campus at Apache Junction High School. EVIT’s focus is to change lives by helping students find their passion and a path to a career they love.
