In August 2012, his father died of a condition related to undiagnosed Type 2 Diabetes. In the 3 weeks that followed, he was diagnosed with the disease. This, combined with high cholesterol and high blood pressure, was nothing short of life-threatening.

It placed him on a journey of personal health improvement, becoming a qualified nutritionist and pursuing his passion for helping people improve their diet and health - specifically reversing Type 2 Diabetes.

In January 2020, he penned a book. This journey of discovery led him to believe that it would not only help others but also that it was, in fact, written for his father.
