Listen "What are the challenges in pursuing dance during the pandemic? @jamesnwong"
Episode Synopsis
Q from Jop Melchor: What are the challenges of pursuing dance during the pandemic and what did you do to keep the fire alive?
Personally, it was just this Feb 2021 that I started moving again. Small pockets of freestyles here and there. At one point during the pandemic last year, even when we were still training for School of Goodlock, it just felt like it wasn’t the same because it isn’t. Really appreciate my crewmates for thinking of ways on how to enjoy each training but the uncertainties, the lag and the delay in technology and other factors somehow took a toll on me.
Dance-wise, it is true, it was really challenging for our mental health. That’s why I am happy to see friends who are getting their groove back!
Slowly I am getting my groove back, I’m just not confident in taking a video.
Haha!
What were your challenges in dancing during the pandemic? And how did you keep the fire alive?
