Episode Synopsis
This episode was recorded at the Stitch and Resist 'Crafting Change' event hosted on Zoom during a snap lockdown in Adelaide in July 2021. The event was a public program for the exhibition hosted at The Mill in July/August, and is the culmination of a year long project of the same name, in which the Centre of Democracy engaged with community organisations and groups, as well as with the general public, to discuss, and create works addressing a range of contemporary issues. Speakers include Nikki Sullivan- Exhibition Curator and manager of Centre of Democracy, Nathan Schroeder, Assistant Curator at The David Roche Foundation, and exhibiting artists Madeline Seys, Monica o'Wheel and Sue Morley.
