But when we think of real life heroes and heroines like Martin Luther King Jr, John Kennedy, or Fannie Lou Hamer, their lives were actually filled with tremendous challenges and moments of doubt that don’t seem to fit the story of fearless leaders that we’ve come to know them by. I believe the road to being chosen or living a purposeful life is bound to be filled with twists & turns because it’s in those twists & turns that we find our own limitations & God’s power & purpose for us most clearly.
