Hello and Welcome to another episode of the Meaning of Health. In this episode we chat with Kai Schweizer from the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia. Kai is an expert in LGBTQIA+ issues, and runs workshops creating awareness among people working with young people from his community. Kai talks to us about some of the challenges that transgender people face in their lives day to day, providing insight into what life is like when someone’s sex at birth is incongruent with their gender identity, and how our society, legal and health systems still have a long way to go in this area.
