There's so much for us to be concerned with in our world today. But sometimes, you just have to shake your head and wonder where some people's priorities lie. A few days ago, the Lieutenant Governor of Texas announced that he is pushing legislation to rename the New York Strip Steak the Texas Strip. Technically, the steak is considered the short loin. It has a variety of names in addition to the New York Strip. Since Texas produces the largest number of beef cattle in the U.S., some think renaming the steak is only fitting. Some argue that the government is focusing too much on things that don't matter...
