All of us experience instability. Our minds, wills, emotions are often chronically unsteady. The question is: “Does God offer stability in the midst of storms?” The resounding answer is, “Yes!” Hebrews 6 recalls the story of Abraham, who “waited patiently and inherited the promise.” But Abraham’s story pinpoints the source of this steadiness: Hope in God’s promises. In this message we will hear about how “we have this hope as an anchor for our souls,” leading us into the very presence of God. The waves and currents of life may push us around, but “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.”
