A Golf Day Fundraiser will be held in Johannesburg this April. As much as there is a fun and leisurely day planned for the participants, there is a crucial angle to the event which makes it worth supporting.It aims to raise funds for CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation SA. And one of its campaigners is Katia Da Ponte, a mother who lost her 7-year-old daughter to brain cancer, two years ago. She, along with several others, hope to raise awareness so that other children out there with a similar health condition can get the help they need.
