After a blistering start from Shelbourne saw them race into a 6-0 lead before Brenda Tabe got a consolation goal in half time injury time.Two goals each from player of the match Noelle Murray and Kate Mooney as well as strikes from Leah Doyle and Jess Gargan saw Shels set up a cup winning performance which belied the competition between these two over the last couple of years.In the immediate aftermath of the cup final Athlone announced the departure of their head coach Ciaran Kilduff who becomes the 5th vacancy or managerial change in the League alongside Waterford, Wexford, Sligo and the recent appointment of Sean Russell in Treaty United.Breifne Earley & Aaron Clarke will be joined by former Irish International Meabh de Burca to discuss all of these as well as the WNT squad which was announced late last week.
