Use these 9 steps to slowly modify your current morning or evening routines into perfectly curated moments that will allow you to be the best version of yourself in no time. It helps the podcast so much!Follow me on insta + tiktok @lettucebelivelyFollow the blog https://www.lettucebelively.comAs promised, here are the 9 steps for you to look back on!Step 1: take a look at your current routine and write it outStep 2: write out habits that you want in your routine but do not already doStep 3: write out habits that are in your routine that you would like to decrease in the futureStep 4: write out the why behind each of these habits Step 5: begin to schedule out your routine by adding your wants into your current routine - fit them in between things you already doStep 6: begin to set limits on the activities you don’t want to do - do not get rid of them completely because it won’t be sustainable - slowly remove them and soon enough you won't feel the need to do them (could take weeks)Step 7: Test it out and revaluate - take a week to test out your new routine and at the end of the week change it to make it fit you better - balance it out by giving yourself enough time to settle in and realize what's not working versus you resisting the change of adding in new habitsStep 8: find your non-negotiables in your routines for busy days - we all have them, they are going to come up when you least expect them so have a plan of attack (what habits make you feel the best, what habits do you want to prioritize)Step 9: Enjoy the intentional routine that you set in place and allow yourself to go on autopilot through it - don’t allow yourself to ask if you want to journal this morning or if you want to go to the gym - you have a schedule, just move from one activity to the next without the option to reorder or reconsider - you spent time cultivating, thinking about, and logically putting this routine together - all you have to do in the morning is go through the motions and enjoy this time that is laid out for you
