Listen "003: Keeping your Home Clean without Spending HOURS on the Weekend"
Episode Synopsis
I am so excited to chat with you about this today because the Sunday 3pm rush of OMG I did nothing but clean the apartment and get ready for next week DOES NOT have to be normal! 9 months ago I stumbled upon an instagram account (@cleanmama) where her bio said it all: “Cleaning doesn’t have to be complicated! Use my simple routine and stop cleaning on the weekends.” This is EXACTLY what I was looking for as busy woman! Her method is all about the assembly line method. You do one thing in every room rather than doing one room at a time. After following her method for a few months I found it wasn’t working perfectly for me so I adapted it to my own cleaning schedule, and encourage you to do the same! Cleaning Schedule: Monday: Dust and Clean Surfaces Tuesday: Floors - Sweep, Mop and Vacuum Wednesday: Mid-week Laundry (INCLUDING FOLDING!) Thursday: Bathrooms Friday: Catch Up and Meal Plan, Grocery List and Grocery Shop Weekends: Wash Sheets and Towels, Load of Laundry and Meal Prep WAYS WE CAN CONNECT!
