Professor Jorge Contreras, James T. Jensen Endowed Professor for Transactional Law and Director of the Program on Intellectual Property and Technology Law at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, discusses the legal impact of patenting human genes, especially as it relates to the 2013 SCOTUS decision in Association for Molecular Pathology v. Myriad Genetics.
