Tips For A Great Message
Have one message. Everyone needs to have the same message so there isn't fragmented marketing

Create a message that will create common ground and conversations
Tips For Casting Vision

Tell stories.
Live it and internalize it.
Tips On Leading Change
Define the problem before you give a solution.
Ask yourself, "Do you want to change the mission or change the model?"
Tips For Leading Up
Use "we and us" language, not "you and them." language.
Talk about the positive.
Ask questions, take notes, and repeat it back.
Jeff's Habits
Books: He focuses on reading a certain number of chapters a week instead of an amount of books.
People: He reaches out to people he knows and doesn't know. He'll reach out to authors of books he's read. He also schedules out meetings with people sometimes up to a year in advance.
Morning: Write seven things I'm grateful for, work out, read something, and write thank you notes.
What Are You Learning Right Now?
How to Improve the World in Three Areas: Families, Churches, and Businesses.
There is a natural discouragement that people are walking around with so Jeff is trying to figure out how to encourage people.
