There are times that one goes into a trance of revising one's thoughts and realizes a peculiar phenomena: One can believe in two contradiction as one and holds them as equal truths. Whether meritless or meritorious, the contradictory thoughts manage to disable some part of one's brain function; maybe as a defense mechanism or as a last tool of gathering control.
